To the editor:
I am proud to be an educator of 46 years, community member and ardent advocate of our schools, teachers and students.
As a member of the Oconto Falls Friends of the Arts, I have had the opportunity to work with Dave Polashek, current and retired classroom teachers, and community business leaders.
I have appreciated Dave Polashek’s tenure in Oconto Falls, his strong support for our schools and his voice speaking against the current damage being done to our schools through the governor’s actions and state budget.
Yes, citizens of Wisconsin need to contact local and state representatives in the Legislature and inform them of our strong feeling as to the damage being done to our Wisconsin schools. Let us remember that all of our children need the very best education that we can provide.
