Missoula Children’s Theatre and more than 50 local students will present “The Wiz of the West,” a fairy tale with a twang, at 12 and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Falls Area Performing Arts Center.
The local cast features Leah Wons as Dotty; Mary Peterson as Mooch; Aidan Spillane as Scared Crow; Eja Sweig as Tinhorn; Andrea Spang as Lionel; and Adeline Pumplun as Hawknose Halley. Also featured are Lauren Meyer as Dr. Ozzy, Olivia Spang as Top Dog, Emily Umentum as Mad Dog and Connor Romandine as Bad Dog.
To complete the ensemble are coyotes Haley Schwantes, Skylar Marquardt, Torrence Fowler, Victoria Athey, Amber Farrar, Madeline Schneider, Sophia Wons, Kayle Hines, McKenzie Jackson and Kyrie Piaskowski; Munch Kin Grace Oninski, Lyndsey Luebke, Mackenzie Staidl, Aliza Dickinson, Simon Pumplun, Tess Maggio, Caitlin Lonzo and Roslyn Kramer; buzzards Lucy Ripley, Grayson Cahak, Jesse Debauch, Kyndra Staidl, Kati Raddatz, Laney Debauch, Bradin Bjelland, Julia Zablocki, Hailey Kopke, Faith Shamburek, Grace Shamburek, Nora Strock, Audryn Just, Chloe Sampley, Helen Marquardtand Alex Spang; and tarantulas Aaliyah Klein, Caylee Bjelland, Abby Kuhn, Hope Soper, Annikka Lagerquist, Trinity Nelson, Olivia Strock, Matthew Meyer, Aiden Cahak, Kaden Hines, Emily Elliott, Gwendolyn Maggio, Sophia Collar, Greta Collar, Annabell Doran and Summer Teske.
