Aug. 5 Deputies logged 30 incidents, including the following: ATV Complaint - Authorities investigated a report of kids riding a loud four-wheeler on Chicken Shack and Crawford roads in Oconto. Welfare Check - Authorities assisted with a report of children in a home with intoxicated adults on Oconto River Shores Lane in Oconto Falls. The caller was concerned about the kids’ welfare. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle overturned in a ditch at Brazeau Town Hall Road and Lee Lake Road in Coleman. Fire - Authorities investigated a report of a semitrailer on fire on state Highway 32 on the Suring hill in Suring. Burglary - Authorities investigated a report of a burglary at Iron Horse Recycling on Park Street in Gillett. Aug. 4 Deputies logged 28 incidents, including the following: Unwanted Party - Authorities assisted with a report of a woman refusing to leave a residence on state Highway 22 in Lena. Disturbance - Authorities assisted with a client at a REM home on Bramschreiber Road in Little Suamico who was out of control and smashed a car window. Sex Offense - Authorities investigated a report of a 7-year-old girl in Abrams diagnosed with a sexually transmitted disease. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of a train engine and five train cars parked on the tracks near Geano Beach Road in Little Suamico for the past five days. Unwanted Party - Authorities investigated a report of people taking items from a property on County Road U in Gillett. Aug. 3 Deputies logged 25 incidents, including the following: Criminal Damage - Authorities investigated a report of someone taking a bike from a home on Main Street in Lena and destroying it. Fire - Authorities assisted with a fire at a home on Serenity Lane in Pulaski. Criminal Damage - Authorities investigated a report of vandalism to a property on Brook Street in Suring. Traffic Hazard - Authorities investigated a report of tree branches blocking a stop sign on Crooked Lake and Tar Dam Road in Crivitz. DNR Complaint - Authorities investigated a report of a truck traveling south on state Highway 32 from Chute Pond with a beagle and a black bear cub in cages in the back. Aug. 2 Deputies logged 42 incidents, including the following: Trespassing - Authorities investigated a report on an ex-wife and another man trespassing at a property on Sleeter Road in Suring. Theft - Authorities investigated a report of a cell phone taken during a fight at a home on Moody Road in Abrams. Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report of an intoxicated man leaving the School House Bar in his vehicle on state Highway 32 in Mountain. Distress Call - Authorities answered a distress call from a father and son fishing on the Oconto breakwater. Aug. 1 Deputies logged 44 incidents, including the following: Prowler - Authorities investigated a report of a person looking into a home on Tower Drive Road in Lena. The home owners also found a bike in their yard that didn’t belong to them. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle that knocked down a mailbox on County Road G, Suring. The license plate was found at the scene. Theft - Authorities investigated a report of a missing log splitter taken from Miller Road in Abrams. Welfare Check - Authorities investigated a report of a woman yelling at a Boy Scout troop having a group picnic on REA Road in Oconto Falls. Boat/water - Authorities assisted a boater who ran out of fuel and was trying to get a ride to the landing at Oconto Breakwater Park. July 31 Deputies logged 39 incidents, including the following: Disturbance - Authorities investigated a complaint from Ralph’s Auto Salvage on Liegeois Road in Oconto of a vehicle owner who refused to pay a tow charges and threatened employees. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a two-vehicle accident on East Highland Drive in Oconto Falls. No injuries were reported, but the street was blocked. ATV Accident - Authorities investigated a report of an ATV rollover with one person injured on County Road F and Powers Lane, east of Lakewood. Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of a man and woman smoking marijuana while parked on County Road N at City Park in Oconto. Disturbance - Authorities investigated a report of four or five women who were intoxicated and fighting on Broadway Avenue and Pecor Street in Oconto.
