Ruth Jane Brehmer, 79, of Abrams, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015, at her home, surrounded by her family, in Abrams.
Ruth was born on Jan. 31, 1936, in Sobieski to the late George and Nettie (Matuszewski) Kucik. She married Kenneth Brehmer on July 24, 1954.
Ruth loved watching birds, especially cardinals. She enjoyed cross-stitching, quilting, sewing, camping and canning, and made the best dill pickles. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; they always made her smile.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Kenneth Brehmer, Abrams; three daughters, Donna (Carl) Asplund, Gillett, Doreen (Ronald) Ripley, Coleman, and Dawn (Terry) Herlache, Kewaunee; two sons, Daniel (Frances) Brehmer, Green Bay, and Darell (Carol) Brehmer, Abrams; brother, Donald (Beverly) Kucik, Hartford; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Brehmer.
Funeral services for Ruth are private.
The Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, is assisting the family.
