Wolf fast at Shawano, boys take 4th

Oconto Falls High School senior Bailey Wolf finished second in Division 2 and sixth overall Saturday at the Shawano Invitational. Wolf completed the winding cross-country race at Shawano Community High School in 20 minutes, 14 seconds. Teammate Ashley Keuken followed in 21:59, and Jaclyn Erickson and Diane Moore ran within 30 seconds of each other at 23:03 and 23:31, respectively. Grace Williams recorded the final time for the Panthers, coming in just under 24 minutes. Winneconne won the girls Division 2 race; Brillion won the D3 meet. Four Gillett girls competed in the D3 race; one short of the number needed to post a team score. On the boys side, Oconto Falls finished fourth in the D2 meet, which Shawano won. The Panthers were led by Evan Konitzer (17:40) and Noah Kokko-Ludemann (18:11). The next OFHS three runners all ran within 13 seconds of each other. Ben Stoinski posted a time of 18:48, Justan Konitzer 18:50 and Doug Mittelstaedt 19:01.
