Hildegard (Karstedt) Severson, 91, ended her journey in life on Oct. 2, 2015, at Woodland Village Nursing Center in Gillett.
She married the former Elrin Severson in 1943 and is survived by her seven children, Jan Salter, Mary (Gayle) Huebner, Joan (Mark) Hanson, John (Gloria) Severson, Ann (Bill) LaChapelle, Kristine Severson and Katherine (Steve) Edwards; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Cremation and a private family graveside gathering was mom’s wish. She leaves behind beautiful memories for her family. She will be safely tucked in our hearts forever, unseen, unheard, but always near.
Thank you to the wonderful caregivers at Woodland Village and to Dr. Maltinski for his devoted attention to Mom’s needs.
