Three candidates will vie to be Gillett’s mayor: incumbent Irene Drake, Alderperson William Pecha and former public works department head and former Alderperson Tim Christensen. Two candidates will advance from a primary election on Feb. 16, with a winner selected on April 5.
Other candidates in Gillett’s spring election are incumbents: Marie Blaser, Ward 1; Terry Nelson, Ward 2; and Nanette Mohr, Ward 3.
