Stanley “Slim” Jaroszewski, 81, Krakow, died suddenly on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016. The son of Stanley and Lucille (Madziar) Jaroszewski was born Feb. 11, 1934, in the town of Chase.
On Nov. 10, 1954, Slim married Delores Przybylski in Pulaski. They owned and operated a dairy farm, where they raised four children. He was a member of St. Casimir Parish in Krakow for many years.
Slim and Delores belonged to five snowmobile clubs, including the Krakow High Noon Riders, of which they were charter members. Slim loved the outdoors, whether it be hunting, snowmobiling or simply enjoying the variety of birds that would flock to his handmade bird feeders. He loved his Arctic Cats, Chevrolets and hamburgers.
Slim was a warm, friendly person who enjoyed being around family and friends. While he was happy and content with his life on the farm, he deeply missed his lifelong partner, Delores, whom he now joins in heaven.
Survivors include three children and their families: Sheri (David Ludke) Johnson, Anston, and her children: Eric (fiancée, Jill Simon) Johnson, Green Bay, and Eric’s daughter, Macy, and Abby (Chris) Meyer, Green Bay; Ron (Patti) Jaro, Green Bay, and their children: Bryanna (Rob Niedermeyer) Jaro, Livonia, Michigan, Zachary Jaro, Waukesha, and Joshua and Seth Jaro, Green Bay, Lorry (Craig) Phillips, Phoenix, Arizona, and their son, Garret Phillips, Phoenix, Arizona; siblings: Josephine Jaroszewski, Oconto Falls, Wanda Jaro, Oconto Falls, Alyce Jaro, Oconto Falls, Eugene Jaros, Cottonwood, Arizona, Teresa (John) Talkington, Carson City, Nevada, Bob Jaro, Sutton, Alaska; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In addition to his wife, who passed away on Nov. 3, 2003, Slim was preceded in death by one son, Donald Jaroszewski, and one brother, John Jaroszewski.
Friends called at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, with a closing prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue after 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at St. Casimir Church, W140 Park St., Krakow. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Patrick Gawrylewski, O.F.M., presiding. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
