Gresham came back after losing the first game 25-22 to win the second game 25-23 and force a decisive third game against Prentice. However, Prentice won that final game 15-5 to take the 2-1 match victory.

In the nonconference match, the Oconto Falls Panthers prevailed over the visiting Howards Grove Tigers 2-0. Game scores were 25-19 and 25-17.

The Panthers were edged out in a tough three-game loss to Fox Valley Lutheran. Oconto Falls won the first game 25-17, but the Foxes won the second game 25-23 as well as the final game 19-17.

Freedom edged out Pulaski in both games with scores of 26-24 and 25-21.
