Clintonville drivers sweep sport compact feature race

Jeffrey Teske started in ninth but earned the checkered flag in the IMCA modifieds 20-lap feature race July 4 at the Shawano Speedway.

Teske defeated Shawano’s Cody Hokenstad, who finished second, and New London’s Tanner Janke, who placed third.

Clintonville’s Lucas Lamberies won the first heat. Marion’s Adam Abbey won the second heat, and Shawano’s Jordan Bartz won the third heat.

In the 20-lap IMCA sport modifieds, Seymour’s Tim Jorgenson won after starting fourth. Oconto Falls’ Cole Magnin was second, and Shawano’s A.J. Springborn was third.

The heat race was won by Tigerton’s Forrest Kernen.

Mosinee’s Andy Karl won the 20-lap dirt late models feature. He moved up one spot after starting second. Shawano’s Troy Springborn finished second, and New London’s Justin Ritchie was third after starting on the pole.

Springborn won the lone heat race.

The IMCA stock cars 20-lap feature was won by Jeremy Christians, of Horicon, after starting in third. Trent Nolan, of Shawano, was second, and Kyle Stedjee, of Shiocton, was third.

Belle Plaine’s Nate Michonski, Christians and Manitowoc’s Brett Wenzel won the heat races.

The IMCA sport compact 12-lap feature race was a clean sweep with Clintonville drivers capturing the top three spots. Calvin Stueck started third and finished first, Tanner Westphal started 10th and finished second, and Brad Wedde started 14th and placed third.

Heat races were won by Stueck and Shawano’s Landon Braatz.
