Audrey Malitta De Bord (née Kohls), a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, peacefully passed away June 12, 2026, at the age of 83. She was born Aug. 9, 1942, in Gillett.
Her life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter and dedication to her family. She was the devoted wife of Doug De Bord, with whom she was married for 62 years, and together they built a life grounded in love and resilience.
Audrey’s memory will be forever cherished by her surviving family, including her husband, Doug De Bord; and her children,Tim (Kim) De Bord and Lori (Chuck) Bunker. Her legacy continues through her three grandchildren, Evan Bunker (21), Sara De Bord (19) and Brad Nelson (37). In addition to her husband, children, and grandchildren, she is survived by her brother, Ken (Mary) Kohls; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
Audrey lived a full life as a wife, mother and supervisor at Molded Rubber and Plastics.
Beyond her career, her passions included camping at Plymouth Rock, gardening flowers, winning at bingo and baking cookies for her family. A proud supporter of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers, Audrey could often be found cheering on her favorite teams, surrounded by the warmth of family and friends. She was also an active member of the women’s club in Hartland, often volunteering to bake or work at Culver’s for fundraising events.
Audrey’s funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. June 17, 2026, at North Point Church, 400 W. Capitol Drive, Hartland. Family and friends are invited to visit the church directly from 4:30 p.m. until the time of the service. A reception will follow.
Burial will be at the Village of Hartland Cemetery-Upper Annex.
