Demmith named M&O golf player of the year

Lena High School golfer Cooper Demmith is the 2026 player of the year for the M&O Conference.

Demmith ended the regular season with a 265 score.

Also named to the first team all-conference was Gillett’s Brody Halla, who was tied for second best with a 267.

Second team honors went to Len’a Tanner Behnke with a 270, Gillett’s Bradyn Kiedrowski with a 286, and Gillett’s Parker Jenerou and Chase Rosenlund, each with a 300.

Coleman won the team title with a 1,273. Lena and Gillett tied for second with a 1,350.
