The Pulaski girls varsity soccer team had its first home game of the season against Slinger, shutting out the Owls 2-0.
The Red Raiders first goal was scored by Sydney Kunstman and assisted by Gretchen Rottier. The second goal was scored by Leah Grygiel, unassisted.
Goalkeepers Tatum Wentland and Lucia Di Gennaro each had one save in the combined shutout win to improve the Red Raiders record to 1-1-1.
Friday, April 17
Xavier 3, Pulaski 1
Pulaski traveled to Appleton to play the Division 4 state champion and No. 2 ranked Xavier Hawks, returning home with a 3-1 loss.
Pulaski’s goal was scored by Ruth Krause and assisted by Elizabeth Dornfeld.
Goalkeepers Tatum Wentland had one save and Lucia Di Gennaro had two saves.
