Wrestlers bound for state meet

Shawano Community High School wrestlers Dane Hodkiewicz, Marcus Brezgel and Drew Chelberg were given a huge sendoff by students and family Feb. 26 as they left Shawano for Madison and the state wrestling meet. This is the ninth consecutive year Shawano has had athletes at the state meet, all under the coaching of Mike Homan. The wrestlers walked through the hallways of the middle school, Olga Brener, Hillcrest and the high school before gathering with the parent and other family members.
