Pulaski girls win D1 track and field regionals

May 27 Division 1, Green Bay Preble Pulaski’s track teams will be represented in more than two dozen events at sectionals, following their strong performance at regionals. The girls, with 157 points, won among the eight teams. The boys scored 110 points and placed second. The first four finishers in each event qualify for sectional competition. Winning for the girls were Olivia Sprangers in the 100- and 200-meter dashes and the long jump; Olivia Stedl in the 800- and 1,600-mete runs; the 4x200-meter relay team of Addison Krueger, Lily Urben, Faye Brunke and Sprangers; the 4x400 team of Anna Friedman, Krueger, Katelyn Jossie and Brunke; and Urben in the 300-meter hurdles. Winning for the boys were Keaton Dauk in the 300-meter hurdles and the 200-meter dash, and Bennett Vanschyndel in the high jump. Also advancing for the girls were the 4x800 team of Mikaela Moore, Adelaide Bruckert, Cameran Reiss and Ellie Murphy, second place; 100-meter hurdles, Jossie, second; 100-meter dash, Brunke, fourth; 1,600-meter run, Emerson Fabry, second; 800-meter run, Fabry, fourth; the 4x400 team of Friedman, Stedl, Fabry and Urben, second; long jump, Lydia Gwidt, fourth; discus, Noelle Manning, third; and shot put, Manning, fourth. Also advancing for the boys were the 4x800 team of Dayne Groth, Thomas Murphy, Arden Gillen and Parker Marshall, second place; 100-meter dash, Spencer Hakes, second; 110-meter hurdles, Dauk, second; 100-meter dash, Hakes, third, and Max Fredrickson, fourth; 4x200 team of Aiden McGinn, Kam McKeefry, Sawyer Goodness and Hakes, third; the 4x100 team of Hakes, Goodness, Fredrickson and McKeefry, fourth; 800-meter run, Mitchell Pilon, third; 200-meter dash, McKeefry, fourth; the 4x400 team of Jacob Betley, Pilon, Thomas Murphy and Daniel Augustine, third; and high jump, Isaac Lom, third.
