The Tigers opened their softball season by nearly tripling the scoring of host Menominee Nation.
Tigerton won 23-8. It was also Menominee Nation’s home and season opener.
Shawano 14, Xavier 2
The Hawks opened Bay Conference play with a 14-2 clubbing of Xavier. Shawano improved to 3-2 overall.
Sevastopol 6, Bonduel 4
Bonduel opened its season at home, dropping a 6-4 decision to visiting Sevastopol.
Freedom 4, Oconto Falls 1
Oconto Falls dipped to 0-2 North Eastern Conference play at 0-2 overall with its 4-1 loss to Freedom.
Crivitz 14, Gillett/Suring 4
Gillett/Suring dropped a 14-4 Marinette & Oconto Conference game to Crivitz as both teams started their conference play at Crivitz. Gillett/Suring is 0-2 overall.
