On Jan. 6, state Rep. Brent Jacobson (R-Mosinee) was sworn into office at the official Inauguration Day ceremony at the State Capitol in Madison, beginning his term as the representative for the 87th Assembly District.
“Public service is a great honor, and I am beyond humbled to have been elected by my constituents to serve as their voice in Madison,” Jacobson said. “I am excited to put my experience to work as vice chair of the Committee on Judiciary and to begin working for the people of the 87th Assembly District.”
The 87th Assembly District includes the city of Marion; the villages of Big Falls, Birnamwood, Eland, Tigerton and Wittenberg; the towns of Almon, Birnamwood, Fairbanks, Germania, Grant, Morris and Wittenberg.
