South Dakota State University (Brookings, South Dakota) announces Aidan Frederick of Wittenberg has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester.
Frederick is a student in SDSU’s Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering.
To earn dean’s list distinction, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits and must have earned at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Upper Iowa University
Officials at Upper Iowa University in Fayette, Iowa, announced the dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester. To be honored, the undergraduate must have earned a minimum 3.50 GPA and be enrolled as a full-time student.
Among those named to the dean’ list was Todd Meyer, an information systems major from Hatley.
Minnesota State Community and Technical College

Marquette University
The following students have been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester at Marquette University in Milwaukee.
To make the dean’s list, students must have earned at least 12 credits for the spring 2024 semester and have no disqualifying grades. The GPA threshold varies by college; for the College of Education and the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences, undergraduate students must have at least a 3.7.
The undergraduate GPA requirement is 3.5 for the following colleges: the Diederich College of Communication, the College of Business Administration, the College of Health Sciences, the Opus College of Engineering and the College of Nursing. All other programs have a 3.75 GPA minimum.

Hannah Seehafer of Shawano was named to the University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa) dean’s list for the 2024 spring semester.
To be honored, students must earn a minimum 3.5 GPA.
To be named to the president’s list, student must have a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Two area students were among the more than 7,650 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa (Iowa City) named to the dean’s list for the 2024 spring semester.
Coy Mills of Oconto Falls is a third-year student in Iowa’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and is majoring in human physiology.
Fourth-year student Lilie Wainio of Pulaski is an ancient civilizations major in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
A minimum 3.5 GPA is required to be named to the dean’s list.
