The Hawks soccer team concluded its regular season schedule with a non-conference home game and a benefit game for the Green Bay Veterans Manor. Many donations were made, both monetary and nonperishable food items, during the 10-0 win.
Trinity Popelka scored four goals for the Hawks. Darcie Erdmann, Amelia Klement and Kendall Knope each had a goal. Maddy Pyatskowit had a hat trick.
Goalkeeper Brynlie Boyles took a short break from defending the net and got on the field and scored her first varsity goal. Makayla Aerts and Brianna Oreskovic-Childs each had two assists to help the Hawks in their victory.
Goalkeepers Brynlie Boyles and Lily Glysch teamed up for a shutout for the Hawks. Glysch had one save.
At 6-14, Shawano will travel to Rhinelander on May 30 for a regional game.
