The Shawano County Fair is seeking candidates for its 2024 Fairest of the Fair.
Application deadline is June 2, and applicants must be 17-23 years of age as of Jan. 1. Individual and group interviews will be held June 15 at the fair office. Coronation will take place June 23 during the Shawano County Brunch On The Farm.
The winner will serve as the official ambassador of the Shawano County Fair and the Shawano County Agricultural Society by representing and promoting the fair opportunities, which include education, agriculture, social, cultural and commercial activities at local events throughout the year. The winner will also make daily appearances at the fair and assist where necessary.
This program provides an opportunity for applicants to grow in public speaking, etiquette, confidence, presentation skills, interviews and more.
