UW-Whitewater
Bennett Frazer, of Lena and a management major and member of the UW-Whitewater baseball team, was among 47 Warhawks recognized as a 2023-24 Chancellor’s Scholar-Athlete.
To be recognized as scholar-athletes, student-athletes must have maintained a 3.25 cumulative GPA or above through the end of the 2023 fall semester. Honorees must have participated in a varsity sport for two years, must be of senior academic status and must have accumulated at least 90 degree credits.
St. Norbert College
There were 381 students in the 2024 graduating class, including 361 candidates for baccalaureate degrees and 20 candidates for master’s degrees, May 12 at St. Norbert College in De Pere.

Bonduel: Aaron Schaal, bachelor of music.
Shawano: Nathan Krizan, bachelor of arts; Katelyn Laatsch, bachelor of business administration; Sage Tomashek, bachelor of arts, cum laude.
Tigerton: Bethany Kreklow, bachelor of arts, summa cum caude, graduate of the honors program.
Wittenberg: Emma Herb, bachelor of science, summa cum laude, graduate of the honors program.
Lena: Lilia Shallow, bachelor of science, summa cum laude.
Oconto Falls: Olivia Waschbisch, bachelor of arts.
UW-Whitewater
A total of 231 students at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater were celebrated for landing a job, earning a job promotion, being accepted to graduate school or starting a company before they graduated from the university May 11.
These included Baylie Hansen, Bonduel, who graduated with a bachelor of science degree in environmental science, and Paige Willer, Pulaski, who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in special education.
