UW-Whitewater
Bennett Frazer, from Lena, who is studying management at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, has earned a roster spot on the Warhawk baseball team for the 2024 season.
Last year, the Warhawks finished third overall with a 15-9 record in conference play and a 30-13 record overall. After falling in the first game of the playoffs, the Warhawks battled back to the championship game where they fell to UW-La Crosse.
St. Mary’s University
Peyton Buerman, of Shawano, has been named to the 2023 fall semester dean’s list at St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota. The list includes 465 undergraduate students who earned a GPA of 3.60 or better on a 4.0 scale.
