Dorothy I. Zoromski

Dorothy I. Zoromski, 83, of Galloway, died on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her family, under the care of her family and Compassus Hospice. Dorothy was born on Nov. 29, 1938, in Birnamwood. The daughter of Herman and Ruby (Harris) Weller. On April 18, 1959, Dorothy was united in marriage to Emerick Zoromski at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galloway. Dorothy enjoyed animals, bird watching, her pets, the Milwaukee Brewers, gardening, and bowling (in her early years). Dorothy also enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing board games, bingo and cards. She was a member of the Elderon Memorial Post 8068 Auxillary and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Galloway and its PCCW. She loved to travel with Rockport, Texas, being a favorite destination. She enjoyed listening to music, especially old country music. Dorothy cherished her family and loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Emerick; her beloved cat, Josie; six children, Cynthia (Richard) Koszarek, of Galloway, Alan (Lorri) Zoromski, of Fennimore, Peter (Sue) Zoromski, of Hortonville, Linda (John) Wierzba, of Galloway, Mary (Jeff) Uttecht, of Galloway, and Brian (Michelle) Zoromski, of Combined Locks; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Joseph (Gloria) Weller, Raymond Weller, Roger (Colleen) Weller, Jeffrey (Tamara) Weller; six sisters, Donna Flaig, Carol Wagner, Barbara Weller, Mary Weller, Laura (Barry) Dallavalle and Sharon (Ronald) Bauch, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; three grandchildren, John Wierzba Jr., Melissa Uttecht and Lydia Zoromski; one brother, Herman Weller Jr.; one sister-in-law, Jill Weller; and one brother-in-law, Roger Flaig. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galloway. The Rev. Jeffrey Hennes officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
