Jeanne E. Rebman, 90, of Green Bay, formerly of Shawano, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021, in Green Bay. Jeanne was born in Antigo to the late George and Sadie (Balke) Nuske on Feb. 27, 1930. Jeanne was united in marriage to Robert Rebman on May 29, 1948, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Clintonville. They resided in Appleton until 1967 when they moved to Green Bay. She worked as a licensed practical nurse from 1979-1986 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay. In 1989, the couple moved to Shawano.
Jeanne is survived by six children, Joan M. Mostek, Kristine A. (Robert) Krueger, Peter G. (Mary Tree) Rebman, Paul R. (Julie) Rebman, Bart A. (Susan) Rebman and Rachel S. (Michael) Rifleman; 14 grandchildren, Aaron Naber, Jason Naber, Michael Renkens, Wendi Renkens, Eric Rebman, Nicholas Rebman, Laura Albers, Sallie Berndt, Jeanne Nicolet, Wade Rebman, Nikki Otero, Jennifer Ronsman, Anne Rifleman and Jacob Rifleman. She is further survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Robert, on Aug. 13, 2018; two sons, Joseph Rebman and David Rebman; great-grandson, Adam Naber; her parents; her siblings, Daniel Nuske, George Nuske, Lois Fehrman, Richard Nuske and Patricia Nowell.
A private family memorial mass for Jeanne was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Green Bay with the Rev. Greg Parent officiating. Inurnment was in Allouez Catholic Mausoleum in Green Bay.
