Carol Ann Wildenberg, 81, of Tilleda, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, at Homme Home in Wittenberg. Carol was born Feb. 7, 1939, to the late Joseph and Zita (Creviere) Siebers in Appleton. She was raised in Kaukauna and graduated in 1957. Carol met her husband, Clay, at the age of 18. She and Clay were united in marriage on June 6, 1964, at Holy Cross Church in Kaukauna. He preceded her in death on Feb. 25, 2013.
Carol worked for the Wisconsin Gas Company in Kaukauna. She thrived on having balance in her life by having a good time yet being a “good girl.” Carol enjoyed music in all forms. She loved spending time playing her hum-strum with others that Clay bought her as a birthday present. Carol also enjoyed playing cribbage and whistling at the cardinals. She will be dearly missed by her family as well as all who knew and loved her.
Carol is survived by her three sons, Alan G. (fiancé Kelly Roe) Wildenberg, Craig A. (Amy) Wildenberg and Todd J. (Laura) Wildenberg: her grandchildren, Cale (Haley), Troy, Case, Cash, Cadence, Nicole and Jason; her siblings, Keith (Virginia) Siebers, of Arizona and Lois Otto, of Appleton. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clay; her parents; her brothers, Eugene and Jerome; sister-in-law, Sue; and one nephew, Joseph.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Leopolis with burial at the parish cemetery. The Rev. Nonito Barra officiated.
