Ronald Palok, of Antigo, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 85 years old. He was born July 4, 1935, in Milwaukee, a son of Chester and Marie (Schmidling) Palok. He married Judith Kurczewski on Jan. 25, 1958, at St. Veronica Catholic Church in Milwaukee. She survives.
He served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1960, having been stationed stateside.
He worked as a Glazier for Lurie Glass Company, putting windows in commercial buildings in Milwaukee for 35 years. He retired in 1994 and moved to Shawano, then to Antigo in 2014.
He was a self-taught woodworker making a variety of furniture.
Ronald loved spending time with his family, traveling and lived his life to the fullest.
Survivors, including his wife, are two daughters, Joan (Jim) Deacy, of Antigo, and Jennie (Rick) Alvarez, of Shawano; son, Michael (Mary) Palok, of Franklin; 10 grandchildren, Stephanie (Barry) Brownett, Jacob Schwarzenbacher, Joshua Schwarzenbacher, Zachary, Luke and Emily Alvarez, Katelyn Palok, Carly (Steven) Menges, Jesse and Shannon Palok; four great-grandchildren, Madison, Ace, Tesla and Noah; a brother, Larry Palok, of Shawano; and his beloved dog, Abbie.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Terri Bushy, and Shirley Krahn; and two brothers, Gerald and Gene Palok.
No services will be held.
