Keith D. Lawrenz

Keith “Huntz” David Lawrenz, 64, of Foley, Alabama, (formerly of Avilla, Indiana, and Bonduel) passed away Aug. 20, 2020, at home with his family by his side. He was born in Bonduel to the late Hans and Geraldine (Meisner) Lawrenz. He is survived by his wife, Roberta “Bert” Lawrenz; his children, Jennifer Froelich (Todd), of Kendallville, Indiana, Dan Gerber (Katie), of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Lois Sumnicht, of Kendallville, Indiana; his granddaughters, Leigha and Calliope; and special fur-child, Elsie. He is also survived by his three brothers, Fred Lawrenz (Mary), of Bonduel, Michael Lawrenz (Jodi), of Atlanta, Georgia, and John “Nute” Lawrenz (Marsha), of Navarino; nieces and nephews; and many wonderful and supportive friends. A celebration of life will be held in LaOtto, Indiana, on Sept. 26, 2020.
