George Anthony Hoffman, 64, of Gresham, passed away Thursday, Aug. 27, 2020, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. George was born June 11, 1956, in Shawano, to the late Ira “Sparky” and Maxine (Warrington) Hoffman. On June 24, 2015, George was united in marriage to Stella Quick in Shawano. He worked for the city of Shawano as a sexton at Woodlawn Cemetery. George enjoyed spending his time fishing and woodworking.
George is survived by his wife, Stella; brothers, Mike (Pat) Hoffman and Larry (Joy) Hoffman; and sister, Sally Jo Hoffman. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In accordance with George’s wishes, no services will be held.
