Demmith earns medalist honor at Golden Sands

Gabe Boivin was three strokes off the lead as he led Menominee Nation/Gresham to first place at Maple Hills Golf Course in Wittenberg.

Menominee Nation won with a 344 followed by Marion in fifth place with 372, Wittenberg-Birnamwood in sixth with 374 and Bonduel in 10th with 431.

Boivin had an 83, and was joined by Allex Mahl and Elliott Penass, each with 85, and Anikohsaeh Corn with a 91.

Kenew Awonohopay carded a 101.

For Marion, it was Javen Prickette and Elijah Scheef, each with a 91, Collin Grogan at 94 and Jarren Faehling at 96.

James Nolan carded an even 100.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s scores were Roman Johnson 85, George Seegmiller 88, Nicholas Flak 94 and Grant Hanson 107.

Slade Wierzba carded a 108.

Bonduel had scores of Cameron Schroeder with 99, Joah Dworniczak with 108, and Cory Wussow and Ryan Westrich, each with 112.

Liam Rosenthal carded a 119.

M&O Mini-Meet #4

Lena’s Cooper Demmith continues to lead the Marinette & Oconto Conference golfers as he was the medalist with a 43 at Golden Sands Golf Course in Cecil.

Gillett’s team placed second at 198, and Lena was third at 201.

Demmith set the pace with a 43. Also scoring were Tanner Behnke with 49, Lucas Mongiat with 50 and Zander Thomson with 59.

Layne Staudenmaier carded a 75.

For Gillett, scores were Bradyn Kiedrowski at 47, Katelyn Sturm at 48, Brandon Slatky at 49 and Parker Jenerou at 53.

Chase Rosenlund carded a 60.
