GB Cats Invite
Marion/Tigerton’s boys and girls track team won a six-team meet in Bowler, with Gresham/Bowler teams placing second.
The Marion/Tigerton boys scored 182 points, followed by Gresham/Bowler with 83, Menominee Nation in fourth with 67 and Wolf River Lutheran in Shawano in fifth with 56.
For the girls, it was Marion/Tigerton with 186 points, followed by Gresham/Bowler in second with 118, Menominee Nation in third with 83 and Wolf River Lutheran in sixth with 34.
Winning boys were Marion/Tigerton’s Caleb Stern in the 100-meter dash in 11.73 and 200-meter dash in 24.88; Max Wilkening in the 400-meter dash in 56.92; Tristan Herro in the 300-meter hurdles in 49.79 and the high jump at 5-10.00; the 1,600-meter relay team of Raymond Crum, Kole Grant, Jacob Suehring and Brayden Zietlow in 10:38.37; Aiden Laatsch in the shot put in 38-00.50.
Other winners were Breckin Gleason, Gresham/Bowler, 3,200-meter run, 13.38; Caleb Bohmbach, Wolf River Lutheran, 100-meter hurdles, 19.04; Riley Hohensee, Ethan May, Cody Mehlberg and Leif Steffen, Gresham/Bowler, 4x200 meter relay, 1:49.99; May, discus, 106-08; and Kenew Awonohopay, Menominee Nation, long jump, 18-08, and triple jump, 39-03.
On the girls side of the ledger, winners for Marion/Tigerton were Kennedy Zuniga in the 800-meter run in 2:59.31 and the 1,600-meter run in 6:36.70; Brooklyn Ahlers in the 3,200-meter run in 15:36.98 and 300-meter hurdles in 1:00.70; Bella Conover, Suri Beilfuss, Myah Malueg and Mckayla Taylor in the 4x200-meter relay in 2:11.32; Conover, Hailey Burmeister, Eliana Michaels and Brittany Beechy in the 1,600-meter relay in 6:26.69; Ahlers, Michaels, Beechy and Zuniga in the 4,000-meter relay in 13:20.77; Presley Stewart-Rolfs in the shot put in 33-09.50 and the discus at 99-00; and Taylor in the triple jump at 31-11.
Other winners were Addison Fischer, Gresham/Bowler, 400-meter dash, 1:08.22; Urijah Reevis, Menominee Nation, 100-meter hurdles, 20.95, and the high jump, 5-01; and Elaine Skenador, Rikki Latender, Reevis and Madeline Tomow, Menominee Nation, 4x100-meter relay, 57.76.
