Riley Gruetzmacher struck out 12 hitters en route to a complete game victory against visiting Shawano on June 17.
Chase Henning managed Shawano’s only hit. His single scored Kasey Kristof, who advanced to first on a passed ball on a third strike.
Oconto Falls responded in the bottom of the first with a sacrifice fly by Brett Ash to score leadoff hitter Sam Shroyer, who walked. Mike Manns (3 for 4) hit a one-out double in the third inning, and scored on a Wes Brabant single.
Oconto Falls added three insurance runs in the sixth inning. A double by Gruetzmacher drove in Shroyer and Manns. Hunter Magnin also scored in the inning.

Catcher Mike Manns knocked in five of Oconto Falls’ 11 runs in a five-inning blowout win at home Sunday.
Hunter Magnin pitched four innings, allowing one hit and recording four strikeouts. Wes Brabant tossed a scoreless fifth inning.
Dalton Curl batted 2 for 2 with an RBI for Oconto Falls (5-2, 3-1 Fox River Valley-North).
