Lee “Leo” White Jr.

Lee “Leo” White Jr. passed on into the Spirit World on Sunday evening, Nov. 23, 2014, in Keshena, surrounded by his loving family. Leo was born on June 28, 1955, to Lee White, Sr. and the late Clara Jean (Beauprey) White. Leo attended Shawano High School and upon finishing his schooling he began employment with MTE as a logger and truck driver. Besides his enjoyment of working in the woods, Leo loved to golf, fish, and hunt. He also enjoyed watching the Packers and listening to his brother Dean’s music. He was a very caring, loving, and kind person who loved his wife, children, grandchildren and family dearly. Leo is survived by his wife, Kathi, of 30 years; his children Jenifer (SunDance), Robert (Sharlene), Michelle (Marc), Marlayna (Roy), Mark (Nikki), Mitchell (Tasha), and Matthew (Amber); and 30 grandchildren. He is further survived by his father, Lee Sr., mother-in-law Gloria Miller, his sister NeNe, and brothers Wayne (Sara) and Dean (Lonna), many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including his special cousin, Dan Reiter. He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Jean White; his brother, David; grandmother, Margaret; aunts Lorrraine and Lucille; fathers-in-law Alex “Boots” Peters, William “Gus” Miller; brothers-in-law Gus and Tony Boots, and sister-in-law Gail Peters. A funeral mass for Leo will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at 2 p.m. St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit. Father David Barrett, will be the celebrant. Visitation for Leo will continue today at St. Anthony’s Community Hall in Neopit. Mickelson Funeral and Cremation Service of Shawano is assisting the family with arrangements.
