Kathleen Mae De Puy, 63, passed away at home on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022. Kathy was born in Sterling, Illinois, on Aug. 26, 1959, to Esther (LaBine) Bohms and the late Louis Bohms. On Feb. 2, 1980, Kathy was united in marriage to William De Puy in Rock Falls, Illinois.
Kathy was a generous and kindhearted woman whom everyone loved. Kathy worked at local banks in Illinois and then CoVantage Credit Union when she and Bill moved to the Shawano area. In her free time Kathy enjoyed boating, fishing and swimming on Legend Lake. Family was far and away the most important thing to her and she cherished the time spent with her precious grandchildren.
Kathy is survived by her husband, William De Puy; children, Monique (Jason) Weidman and Teresa De Puy; four grandchildren, William and Jayden Weidman and Brooklynn and Madisyn Evans; her mother, Esther Bohms; three brothers; and three sisters.
Kathy was preceded in death by her father and one brother.
A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
