John F. Buckett, 72, of Leopolis, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, in Appleton. He was born on Aug. 29, 1943, in Norway Township, Racine County, to the late Francis and Leona (Haig) Buckett.
On Feb. 3, 1979, John was united in marriage to Susan Resch in East Troy. She preceded him in death on Aug.31, 2011. He owned and operated a dairy farm in the town of Seneca since 1982.
John enjoyed hunting and motorcycles. He was a loving husband and father and enjoyed spending time with his family.
John is survived by his children, Sam (Amy) Buckett, of Leopolis, and Sally (Tom) Egan, of Pella; his sister, Catherine (Pete) Greeley, of Mukwonago; as well as several nieces and nephews, including special nephew Cliff Peterson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan, his parents, and one sister.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
