Jean K. Perschbacher

Jean Kathryn Perschbacher, 62, of the town of Green Valley, passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, in Green Bay. Born on Dec. 5, 1950, in Shawano, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Dorothy (Brown) Wudtke. Jean lived all her life in the town of Green Valley. She attended school in Advance and graduated from Bonduel High School. She later worked at Green Bay Cheese and at her parents’ Advance Hardware Store. On Nov. 7, 1970, she was united in marriage to Eugene Perschbacher at Immanuel Lutheran Church at White Clay Lake. The couple owned and operated Perschbacher Electric. Jean was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church at Green Valley. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, going to the casino and tending to her cats, Beau and Belle. Her biggest joy in life came from moments spent with her beloved granddaughter, Lily. Jean is survived by her daughter, Renee (Eddie) Brusky, of Shawano; her son, Chad Perschbacher, of Cecil; her granddaughter, Lily; two brothers, Virgil (Mary Ann) and Jim (Karen) Wudtke; and nieces, nephews and friends. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, on Sept. 26, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Green Valley with the Rev. Bruce Blocker officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. www.swedbergfuneralhome.com
