Local high school girls golf meets are on the schedule for this week, with football coming next week.
Bonduel, Shawano, Oconto Falls and Pulaski golf teams are on the schedule at various locations Aug. 14-15. More meets are scheduled for Aug. 18-21.
Tennis will begin Aug. 18, with Pulaski at Appleton West and Shawano at Bay Port (also scheduled for Aug. 19). Shawano will be at Green Bay Preble on Aug. 22.
Swimmers from Pulaski will participate in the Green Bay Pentathlon on Aug. 21.
Football season will begin Aug. 21 when Suring hosts Wausaukee.
Several teams will play Aug. 22.
They include Bonduel at Wittenberg-Birnamwood, Gillett vs. Three Lakes, Lena vs. Niagara, Tigerton/Marion vs. Rosholt at Tigerton, Oconto Falls vs. Oconto, Pulaski at Oconomowoc, and Shawano at Denmark.
