Suzanne M. Miller

Suzanne M. Miller, 82, of Shawano, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Suzanne was born Feb. 6, 1942, in Shawano, a daughter of the late Melvin and Florence (Martzke) Hoffman. She attended the Shawano schools, graduating with the class of 1960. Following high school, she moved to Illinois and worked at an insurance company. In 1961, she married Richard Koeller, and together they had two children, Mike and Greg Koeller. After living in Illinois for a few years, Suzanne moved back to Shawano with her family, and the couple later divorced. On Aug. 20, 1982, she was united in marriage to Ronald M. Miller in Shawano. Suzanne worked at Midwest Breeders, Radco Manufacturing and the Menominee Casino. Her husband, Ronald, preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 2020. Suzanne loved doing any type of yard work, especially gardening and raking. She always enjoyed her time camping and going to the casino. Suzanne cherished her two beloved dogs, Booboo and Bear. Survivors include her children, Michael and Gregory (Penny) Koeller; step-granddaughters, Stephanie (Keane) Rydzewski and Jenna (Joey) Krause; step-great-grandchildren, Adam Prey, Karsyn Krause and Olivia Krause; siblings, Sharon Gillette, Virginia Abraham, Patricia Ellison, Michael Hoffman and Peter (Judy) Hoffman; four nephews, Jim Ellison, Shawn, Grant and Scott Hoffman; two nieces, Lisa Beyer and Christa Dickson; brother-in-law, Howard Anker; and many other relatives and friends. Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald; siblings, Frederick Hoffman, William Hoffman, Jeffrey Hoffman and Judith Anker; nephew, James Dickson; and brothers-in-law, George Gillette, Romy Abraham and Jim Ellison. A graveside service for Suzanne Miller will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano.
