Shawano 4, Pulaski 3
Shawano tennis players won a pair of singles matches and a pair of doubles matches to defeat Pulaski 4-3 on the courts of Shawano Community Middle School.
Tannier Thiel defeated Oriol Capella Rodon 6-4, 6-4, at No. 1 singles, and John Kim defeated Conrad Kreutzberg 6-1, 6-1, in the No. 4 slot.
Shawano’s duo of Enrique Omella Valls and Evan Anderson won at No. 1 doubles, beating Oscar Delmarcelle and Lucas Ford 6-1, 6-0. At No. 2 doubles, Kiernan Sheldon and Charlie Grieves topped William Gosse and Alex Klopotic 6-1, 6-1.
Pulaski won the No. 2 and No. 3 singles matches. Thoma Pannatier shut out Everett Grover 6-0, 6-0, and Aaron Trijueque Ruiz squeezed by Samuel Green 6-2, 7-6 (5).
At No. 3 doubles, Simon Banaszynski and Liam Ford defeated Seth Pyatskowit and Ethan Alkula 7-5, 6-1.
