Sandra J (Westby) Trever

Sandra J. (Westby) Trever, 79, of Suring, passed away suddenly on April 21, 2023. Sandra (Sandy) was born on Nov. 11, 1943, in Appleton, to the late LeRoy and Dorothy Westby. She met Joe and they wed March 22, 1967, and made many memories throughout the 56 years of marriage they shared. Anyone who knew Sandy also knew of her love for her cats. There was never a time that she did not have at least a few cats in the house and a few strays that she was taking care of outside. Sandy always enjoyed her outings to the casino as well as the nail salon (with Miss Molly) and the hair salon (with Miss Peggy). She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Joseph; her brother, Edwin (Sherry) Westby; many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends, and also Joe’s children and grandchildren. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Dorothy Westby, her brother Thomas Westby, Joe’s parents Ray and Ardis Trever and other extended family. The family welcomes you to join us in a celebration of Sandy’s life on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Safe Haven Community Church in Pound. Visitation will start at 9 a.m. and will continue until the time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m. with close family friend Pastor Mark Kostreva officiating, lunch to follow. We would also like to thank Bellin Hospital and ER for taking care of Sandy over the years.
