Voters in the newly aligned Shawano County Board District 22 sent R. Raymond Rigsby and Anne Smith to the April 2 general election following the Feb. 20 primary.
Rigsby collected 94 votes, including 56 from the Town of Seneca, Ward 1, and 30 from the Town of Grant, Ward 1. Smith earned 50 votes, including 18 from the Town of Grant, 11 from the Town of Morris, Ward 2, 20 from the Town of Seneca and one from the City of Marion, Ward 4.
Placing third in the three-way race was Jerry Ahlers. He collected 21 votes, spread across the Town of Grant (18), Town of Seneca (one) and City of Marion (two).
The winner in April will serve a two-year term.
In the three-way primary for an at-large seat on the Pulaski School Board (that includes parts of the Towns of Angelica, Green Valley, Lessor and Maple Grove, part of the Village of Pulaski), Steve Liegl and Jennifer Rybicki advanced. Corey Juelich placed third.
Shawano County voters joined those in Brown, Oconto and Outagamie counties in determining the winners.
Overall, Liegl had 960 votes, Rybicki had 596, and Juelich had 212.
In Shawano County, Liegl placed first with 79 votes, and Rybicki was next with 48. Juelich earned 25 votes.
In Oconto County, which includes the communities of Chase, Little Suamico and Morgan, Liegl picked up 387 votes, Rybicki earned 118, and Juelich had 45.
Current member-at-large board member Megan Mills-Koehler chose not to seek re-election.
Liegl and Rybicki will face off April 2. The winner will serve a three-year term.
