Rebecca “Becky” May Raner-Doxtater, 59, of Kewaskum, passed away on June 11, 2015, in Pewaukee.
Becky was born on Nov. 19, 1955, in Chicago, the daughter of the late Franklin and Jacqueline (Skelnik) Raner. She graduated from Alverno College in Milwaukee. Becky was united in marriage to Kelly I. Doxtater in Bowler. She worked at the Menominee Indian High School for 12 years and helped over 500 students receive their GED diploma. Becky was a published poet and a member of the Wisconsin Education Association.
Becky is survived by her husband, Kelly; her children, Joe Marra, Julie (Jim) Parbs; her stepchildren, Katherine Doxtater, Chelsea Doxtater and Alexander (Sara) Doxtater; her grandchildren, Dakota, Alexis, Mia, James, Mason, Carson and Jackson. She is further survived by her sisters and brothers, Penny, Ruth, Tim, Nathan and Mathew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2015, at Lutheran Church of the Wilderness with the Rev. Melinda Shriner officiating. Burial will be in the Red Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
