Menominee Indian 14th at sectional
The Menominee Indian High School boys cross-country team took 14th at the WIAA Division 3 sectional Saturday in Athens.
The Eagles were led by Brandon Reiter, who finished 17th overall with a time of 18 minutes, 20.8 seconds. Blake Stoehr was 69th.
Marathon won the sectional title, followed by Marshfield Columbus Catholic and Phillips.
Chargers swept by Tomahawk
The Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School volleyball team lost to Tomahawk 3-0 in the WIAA Division 2 regional final Saturday in Tomahawk.
The Chargers lost 25-21, 25-13, 25-12.
Micah Nier led Wittenberg-Birnamwood with eight kills. Taylor Nier had three kills and seven digs.
