Otto Wagner Jr., 86, of the town of Hartland, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, in Shawano. Born on Sept. 10, 1927, in the town of Hartland, he was the son of the late Otto and Ida (Krause) Wagner.
Otto lived his entire life on the family farm in the town of Hartland. He also worked as a mechanic for the Shawano County Highway Department for many years. On Jan. 29, 1949, he was united in marriage to Margaret Ann Bernarde. Otto was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel. In his free time he enjoyed fixing things for his neighbors.
Otto is survived by his wife of 64 years, Margaret; his son, Ralph Wagner; six grandchildren, Todd, Michelle, Timothy, Jesse, Brent, Kyle; and four great-grandchildren.
Otto was preceded in death by his son, Peter Wagner, his parents, a sister and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel. Visitation will be held at the Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
