Oconto Falls’ girls earned eight first-place awards at the Oconto falls Indoor 2 meet March 25.
Abby Budz was first in the 200-meter dash in 30.54 seconds. Bailee Gorman was third, Emery Pagel placed fourth Jasmine Lamal-Martinez was ninth, and Gwen Maggio finished 1oth.
Budz also won the triple jump at 29 feet 1.75 inches. Pagel finished fourth, and Mackenzie Lotto was 10th.
In the 400-meter dash, it was Maddy Przybylski in first in 1:10.54, followed by Arianna Impastato in eight and Evelyn Savage in ninth.
Ava Hodkiewicz’ 2:40.6 gave her first in the 800-meter run, while Emma Meissner placed second, and Ali Kramer was eighth.
Hailey Delzer won the 1,600-meter run in 6:19.9.
All three relay teams won. The 4x100-meter time was 1:13.14, the 4x400-meter team had a time of 4:28.1, and the 4x800-meter foursome won in 11:06.2.
Gracie Miller led a contingent of teammates with a second-place finish in the long jump. She was joined by Budz in third, Rhiana Vandeyacht in fifth, Maggio in sixth, Przybylski in eighth and Hailyn St. Louis in ninth.
Morgan Moynihan placed second in the shot put and was joined by Kati Raddatz in fifth and Grace Molitor in eighth.
Lotto placed third in the 55-meter hurdles.
Maggio placed ninth and Lily Van De Ven was 10th in the high jump.
Eva Brooks had two first-place finishes, and Abigail Kostreva had a third to lead the Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas Academy team.
Brooks was first in the 55-meter hurdles in 8.84, leading teammates Kali Fischer in second, Alexis Maloney in fourth, Laila Collar in fifth and Emma Hasenfus in eighth.
At 4-8, Brooks won the high jump. Kate Peters was third.
Kostreva’s 14-0.5 earned her the title in the long jump.
Other top-10 finishes included Madilyn Thomson, second in the 200-meter dash, with Kaelyn Cook in sixth. Kostreva was second in the 400-meter dash, followed by Karli Fischer in fifth, Della Kostreva in sixth and Kate Peters in seventh.
Kali Fischer placed second in the triple jump, followed by Kaitlyn Borkovec in third and Della Kostreva in sixth.
Miriam Alberts placed fifth in the 800-meter run.
Mackenzie Vorpahl placed seventh in the shot put, and Whitney Potter finished 11th.
Boys events
Oconto Falls’ boys earned six first-place awards.
Isaac Bramer won the 200-meter dash in 25.64, and was followed by Alex Frehse in fifth and AJ Hendricks in 10th.
Emerson Rice’s time of 2:14.9 gave him first in the 800-meter run, where he was joined by Griffin Kopke in third and Braxton Rajkovich in ninth.
Ben Adams placed first in the 1,600-meter run in 4:56.3.
Alex Haines’ time of 7.34 placed him first in the 55-meter hurdles, and Emerich Skarban placed second.
Brady Bursa leapt to first in the long jump at 18 feet 9 inches. He was joined by Evan Lotter-Greetan in fourth and Weston Hoskins in seventh.
The 4x800-meter really team also placed first.
Brant Laluzerne ran to second in the 400-meter dash. Carter Hill placed fifth, and Croix Gardenbrecht was seventh.
A second-place finish was recorded by the 4x400-meter relay team, while the 4x100-meter relay foursome was fifth.
Haines was second in the high jump, and Skarban was fifth.
Bursa collected a third-place finish in the triple jump, while Gardenbrecht placid seventh.
Bryce Schefdore finished in fourth in the shot put.
The pole vault results included Kolton Krueger in sixth, Hill in seventh and Cason Weenig in eighth.
Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas Academy also competed in the event, with Anthony Seefeldt’s second-place finish in the shot put leading the team results.
Zander Thomson was third in the high jump. Thomson was fourth in the 55-meter hurdles, and the 4x100-meter relay team was also fourth.
Erik Kosch placed fifth in the 1,600-meter run.
Kosch was also seventh in the 800-meter run, Colton Skrobel was seventh in the shot put, and Robert Alberts finished eighth in the long jump.
