An initial appearance was held for Christopher W. Matuszak, 37, Green Bay, on 10 counts of failure to support a child (120-plus days), which allegedly occurred from March 2011 to July 2014. The court set a $10,000 signature bond. A preliminary hearing is Aug. 3.
An arraignment was held for Colton J. Hancock, 22, Dubuque, Iowa. He stood mute on felony charges of burglary-building or dwelling, party to a crime, taking and driving a vehicle without consent, party to a crime, and two misdemeanor charges, which allegedly occurred March 11 in Little Suamico. The court set a $25,000 cash bond. A plea hearing is Aug. 24.
An initial appearance was held for Douglas J. Kempke, 36, Pound, on felony charges of child abuse-intentionally causing harm, child abuse-recklessly causing harm (two counts) and a misdemeanor, which allegedly occurred March 2013 through April 2015 in the town of Oconto Falls. The court set a $2,500 signature bond. An adjourned initial appearance is July 22.
An initial appearance was held for Michael C. Noffke, 23, Cecil, on felony charges of theft movable property and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred May 1 through 18 in Underhill. The court set a $500 cash bond. A continued initial appearance is Aug. 13.
An initial appearance was held for Brian M. Madson, 30, Oconto, on two felony charges of theft of movable property, party to a crime, which allegedly occurred Jan. 1 and March 31 in Oconto. The court set a $2,500 cash bond. A preliminary hearing is July 16.
An initial appearance was held for Travis J. Lebich, 38, Marinette, on felony charges of burglary of a building or a dwelling, habitual criminality and two misdemeanor charges, which allegedly occurred April 7 in the town of Oconto. The court set a $2,500 cash bond. A preliminary hearing is Sept. 8.
A continued initial appearance was held for Jacob R. Buelteman, 29, Oconto Falls, on a felony charge of vehicle operator fleeing or eluding an officer, which allegedly occurred June 20 in the town of Oconto Falls. The court set a $2,500 cash bond. A preliminary hearing is July 15.
An arraignment was held for Daniel T. Sellen, 36, Peshtigo. He pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of aggravated battery (domestic abuse) and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred May 12 in Oconto. A $10,000 cash bond was modified by the court to a $2,500 cash bond. A status conference is July 27.
Proceedings from July 8
A sentencing hearing was held for Charley E. Estep, 30, Oconto. He pleaded no contest to two felony charges of manufacturing/delivering amphetamine, one in Oconto County and one in Marinette County. A determinate sentence of 10 years was imposed, five years incarceration and five years extended supervision. Read in and dismissed were felony charges of possession with the intent to deliver amphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine precursors, knowingly possessing meth waste and possession of drug paraphernalia to manufacture, compound, convert, produce or store methamphetamine. All counts occurred July 7 in Little River and Marinette. He must find full-time employment unless continuing with school, then part-time is acceptable. He is to have no contact with others involved and absolute sobriety, successfully complete alcohol and other drug abuse treatment and cognitive and behavioral treatment and testing.
A sentencing hearing was held for Samuel D. Stachura, 35, Sobieski, on felony charges of felon possession of firearms (two counts), possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug trafficking place and two misdemeanor charges, which occurred Oct. 17, 2014, in Mountain. A determinate sentence of six years was imposed and stayed, three years incarceration and three years extended supervision, with an additional two years of probation. He is to successfully complete AODA treatment and follow-through and maintain absolute sobriety.

A sentencing hearing was held for Raul V. Saldana, 64, Pound, on felony charges of manufacture/deliver cocaine, party to a crime, on July 18, 2014, in Oconto. The court amended the charge to distribute a counterfeit schedule V drug. A determinate sentence of three years, six months was imposed and stayed, incarceration 18 months was imposed and stayed and extended supervision of two years was imposed and stayed. He must successfully complete AODA treatment, compass evaluation and all follow-up care, maintain absolute sobriety, not possess drugs or paraphernalia or consume drugs without a prescription and have no contact with others involved.
An arraignment was held for Richard L. Comins Jr., 42,Oconto Falls. He pleaded not guilty to felony charges of OWI (fifth or sixth offense), operating with prohibited alcohol concentration (fifth or sixth offense) and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred May 6 in Stiles. A $20,000 cash bond continues. A pretrial conference is Aug. 13.
An arraignment was held for Dwight D. Cooper, 17, Green Bay. He pleaded not guilty to felony charges of driving or operating a motor vehicle without consent and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred May 13 in Little Suamico. A $250 cash bond continues. A pretrial conference is Aug. 13.
