Proceedings from Oct. 16 An initial appearance was held for Edmond J. Sutrick, 57, Oconto Falls, on felony charges of second-degree sexual assault of a child, two counts, and repeated sexual assault of the same child, at least three violations of first- or second-degree sexual assault, which allegedly occurred Aug. 1 and Oct. 10 in -Oconto Falls. The court set a $50,000 cash bond. An adjourned initial appearance is Nov. 17 Proceedings from Oct. 15 An initial appearance was held for Cody J. Vahoosen, 21, Oconto, on felony charges of second-degree sexual assault of a child, use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, child enticement-sexual contact and exposing a child to harmful material, which allegedly occurred Sept. 1, 2013, and Dec. 31, 2014, in Oconto Falls. The court set a $50,000 cash bond. A continued initial appearance is Nov. 17. An arraignment/adjourned initial appearance was held for Owen R. Birr, 34, Oconto Falls, on a felony charge of stalking and one misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred Aug. 9 in Underhill. A $5,000 cash bond continues. A status conference/possible plea and sentencing hearing is Oct. 26. A sentencing hearing was held for Megan M. Leathers, 36, Oconto, on a felony charge of operating while intoxicated and two counts of bail jumping April 12 and Aug. 2 in Little River. For the OWI, she was sentenced to two years incarceration at Taycheeda and three years extended supervision, consecutive to any other sentencing, including sentencing in Columbia County. On one count of bail jumping, she was sentenced to one year incarceration and two years supervision, consecutive to the other sentence. Her driver’s license is revoked and ignition interlock in place for 36 months, with a six-point driver’s license demerit. She is to maintain absolute sobriety and successfully complete any AODA treatments and follow-up. She may not take a job in which she sells or serves alcohol. The second count of bail jumping was dismissed. A sentencing hearing was held for Michael C. Noffke, 23, Cecil, on felony charges of theft, movable property, and a misdemeanor charge, which occurred between May 1 and 18 in Underhill. On count one, sentencing was withheld and he was sentenced to three years probation. On the misdemeanor charge, he was sentenced to 160 days in jail. He must obtain or maintain employment or attend school, obtain a GED, find a residence or a transitional living arrangement, successfully complete AODA treatments and Compass evaluation with any follow-ups, take prescription medications as directed and maintain absolute sobriety. The court will grant an expunction if he successfully completes this sentence and stays crime-free for three years. Count two was dismissed. A sentencing hearing was held for Ignacio Mejia-Vargas, 50, Oconto, on felony charges of manufacturing/delivering THC, second offense, two counts, possession of a firearm by a felon, three counts, possession with intent to deliver THC, second offense, two counts, and maintaining a drug trafficking place, second offense, which occurred Aug. 20, Sept. 12 and Oct. 6 in Oconto. On count one, manufacturing, he was sentenced to five years incarceration and five years extended supervision. On count two, firearm, he was sentenced to six years incarceration and five years extended supervision, concurrent to count one. Conditions of extended supervision are absolute sobriety, AODA treatment and follow-up, and obtaining and maintaining full-time employment. All other charges, including Brown County charges, were read in and dismissed. Proceedings from Oct. 14 An initial appearance was held for Jose G. Delgado, 33, Suring, on a felony charge of stalking (repeater) and three misdemeanor charges, which allegedly occurred Oct. 11, 2010, in the town of How. The court set a $5,000 cash bond. A continued initial appearance is Nov. 17. An initial appearance was held for Christopher M. Biersteker, 19, Green Bay, on felony charges of injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle, two counts, injury by use of vehicle PAC, two counts, and reckless driving-causing great bodily harm, two counts, which allegedly occurred Sept. 7 in Lakewood. The court set a $10,000 cash bond. A continued initial appearance is Nov. 17. A preliminary hearing was held for Heidi M. Peterson, 19, Abrams, on felony charges of second-degree recklessly endangering safety, five counts, and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred Sept. 23 in Pensaukee. A $15,000 cash bond continues. An arraignment is Nov. 2. A waiver preliminary hearing/pretrial conference was held for Dahlton J. Sutrick, 21, Gillett, on felony charges of possession of THC, second-plus offense, and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred July 8 in Gillett. A $1,500 cash bond continues. An arraignment/status conference is Nov. 17. A waiver preliminary hearing was held for Clinton B. Ryczek, 24, Oconto Falls, on a felony charge of burglary of a building or a dwelling and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred June 10 in Stiles. A $500 cash bond continues. An arraignment is Nov. 2. A waiver preliminary hearing was held for David T. Huggard, 25, Oconto Falls, on a felony charge of strangulation and suffocation, domestic abuse, and three misdemeanor charges, which allegedly occurred Oct. 6 in Oconto Falls. A $2,500 cash bond continues. An arraignment/status conference/possible plea and sentencing hearing is Oct. 27. Proceedings from Oct. 12 An initial appearance was held for Wayne M. Chrisman, 42, Pulaski on a federal charge of OWI (fourth within five years), which allegedly occurred Oct. 9 in Pulaski. The court set a $2,500 cash bond. An adjourned initial appearance is Nov. 17. Proceedings from Oct. 9 An initial appearance was held for Delbert I. Welch, 52, Suring, on a felony charge of first-degree child sexual assault (intercourse with a child under 12), which allegedly occurred Jan. 1 and Sept. 9 in Mountain. The court set a $150,000 cash bond. A continued initial appearance is Nov. 17.
