Proceedings from July 12
John F. Benser, 48, Pound, pleaded guilty to a charge of driving while intoxicated, eighth offense. He was arrested March 11 in the town of Brazeau. A presentence investigation was ordered, with sentencing set for Sept. 4. His $10,000 cash bond continues, and he is not to drive without a valid license and have no alcohol.
Matthew R. Pearson, 20, Sobieski, pleaded not guilty to charges of being party to burglary and party to theft, which allegedly took place Sept. 6, 2012, in the town of Abrams. A status conference will be held Sept. 12, and his $1,000 cash bond continues.
Sentencing is set for Aug. 9 for Camrin C. Baierl, 22, Crivitz. He entered no contest pleas to being party to burglary Nov. 1, 2012, in the town of Lakewood, and of burglary, which took place Dec. 5, 2012, in the town of Riverview. Cash bonds of $5,000 and $3,500 continue.
Proceedings from July 11
A preliminary hearing will be held Aug. 12 for Brian C. Roeder, 55, Townsend, who is accused of election fraud by illegal voting on April 2 in the town of Townsend. His $2,000 signature bond continues.
An arraignment is scheduled for Sept. 12 for Kraig B. Jerlings, 27, Pulaski. He faces a sex registry violation, which allegedly occurred about Sept. 1, 2010. A $10,000 cash bond was posted.
A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 13 for Dustin M. Lindholm, 17, Oconto Falls. He was arrested between May 3 and 21 for burglary, theft and causing criminal damage to property in the town of Morgan. A $10,000 cash bond was set.
An initial appearance will continue Aug. 8 for Breanna J. Heller, 22, Green Bay. She is charged with causing substantial battery intending bodily harm and disorderly conduct. She was arrested July 6 in the town of Lena. Her $2,000 cash bond continues.
A preliminary hearing is set for July 19 for Ronald L. Ketchum, 27, Peshtigo. He is facing a felony bail jumping charge, which allegedly occurred June 23 in Oconto. His cash bond of $6,000 continues, and he is to have no alcohol or contact with others involved in the case. He also faces charges of child abuse, battery, disorderly conduct and causing criminal damage to property on June 9 in Oconto, and stalking and felony bail jumping on June 28, also in Oconto.
Douglas J. Piontek, 41, Wabeno, entered not guilty pleas to manufacturing with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested April 9 in the town of Townsend. His pretrial conference is scheduled for Aug. 8, and a $500 cash bond continues.
A preliminary hearing will take place Aug. 15 for Heath M. Warner, 41, Oconto Falls, who faces charges of manufacturing with intent to deliver a controlled substance, on both April 18 and May 13 in Oconto Falls, and of maintaining a drug trafficking place and possession of a controlled substance on May 13, also in Oconto Falls. His $10,000 cash bond continues, and he is not to consume or possess any alcohol or illegal drugs.
A preliminary hearing is set Aug. 15 for Justin L. Nernberger, 17, Oconto Falls, who was arrested June 26 in the town of Abrams for being party to a burglary. His $5,000 signature bond continues, and he is to have no contact with the victims or co-defendants.
Craig A. Spice II, 31, Oconto, entered not guilty pleas to, as a repeater, nine charges of failure to pay child support and felony bail jumping. His pretrial conference will take place July 26, and a $10,000 cash bond continues.
A preliminary hearing will be held Aug. 15 for Dakota A.D. Dickinson, 18, Oconto Falls, who is charged with being party to a burglary June 26 in the town of Abrams. His $5,000 signature bond continues.
Charles M. Galbraith, 51, Pound, made an initial appearance on eight counts of failure to pay child support, and a $2,500 signature bond was set. His appearance will continue Aug. 8.
A preliminary hearing will be held Sept. 16 for Patrick M. Heath, 32, Scott City, Kansas. He faces a driving while intoxicated charge, fifth or sixth offense with a passenger under the age of 16 in the vehicle, and of operating without a valid license. He was arrested June 15 in the town of Mountain. A $2,500 cash bond was set.
A preliminary hearing will take place Aug. 30 for Joseph P. Marquette, 38, Mountain. He is accused of child abuse intending to cause bodily harm and was arrested April 30 in the town of Riverview. His $5,000 signature bond continues.
A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 13 for Brenda L. Prey, 34, Oconto. She was arrested June 7 in Oconto for hit and run involving injury. Her $1,000 cash bond continues.
Ronda P. Pawelczyk, 25, Shawano, stood mute at her court appearance for five counts of misappropriating identification information to obtain money on Dec. 26, 2011, Jan. 3, 2012, and Dec. 28, 2011. The court entered a not guilty plea on her behalf and set a pretrial conference for Sept. 12. A $5,000 signature bond continues.
A preliminary hearing will be held Aug. 30 for William A. Winkler, 35, Oconto Falls. He faces a charge of theft of movable property, which allegedly took place April 22 in the town of Brazeau. A $5,000 signature bond continues.
A jury trial is set Aug. 21 for Jason C. Smith, 28, Mountain. He was arrested April 20 for driving while intoxicated, fourth offense, driving while his license was revoked, disorderly conduct, driving a vehicle without the consent of the owner and driving with blood alcohol content greater than the legal limit, fourth offense. A $1,500 cash bond continues.
Proceedings from July 10
Three counts of forgery were reduced from felonies to misdemeanor theft against Terri L. Henning, 45, Peshtigo. She was charged with taking five checks of Richard L. Tebo and cashing them at Thompson’s County Market, Oconto, on May 30, 2012. Henning was ordered to pay $265.47 restitution and $253 court costs and spend five days in jail.
