Eagles swept by Oconto
The No. 7 Menominee Indian High School volleyball team lost to second-seeded Oconto 3-0 in the WIAA Division 3 regional Tuesday in Oconto.
The Eagles lost 25-10, 25-8, 25-10.
Chargers sweep Lakeland
The No 3 Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School volleyball team beat No. 6 Lakeland 3-0 in a WIAA Division 2 regional Tuesday in Wittenberg.
The Chargers won 25-12, 25-15, 25-12.
Taylor Bushman had 18 kills and 10 digs for W-B. Micah Nier had 11 kills. Taylor Nier had six kills and nine digs. Hannah Buntrock had six kills and Madison Bushman had 33 assists.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood will face No. 2 Mosinee on the road Thursday.
Bowler tops Lena
The No. 4 Bowler High School volleyball team beat No. 5 Lena in five sets Tuesday to advance in the WIAA Division 4 regional Tuesday in Bowler.
The Panthers won the first game 25-18, lost the next two 25-18, 26-24. Bowler went on to win the next two games 25-12, 15-11.
Bowler will go on the road to face top-seeded Suring on Thursday.
Tigers upset by Prentice
The No. 7 Tigerton High School volleyball team was upset by No. 10 Prentice in the WIAA Division 4 regional Tuesday in Tigerton.
Tigerton lost the first two sets 25-18, 25-18, won the third 25-22 and lost the fourth 25-15.
Sarah Gauthier had 14 points for Tigerton. Payton Bailey had five kills. Erin Robbins had 10 assists and five points. Emily Wendt had 13 digs.
Marion swept by Assumption
The No. 14 Marion High School volleyball team lost to No. 3 Assumption 3-0 in the WIAA Division 4 regional Tuesday in Wisconsin Rapids.
The Mustangs lost 25-17, 25-12, 25-11.
Truckers fall to Wrightstown
The No. 13 Clintonville High School volleyball team lost to No. 4 Wrightstown 3-0 in a WIAA Division 2 regional Tuesday in Wrightstown.
The Truckers lost 25-9, 25-9, 25-13.
