Mary Elizabeth Lutzow

Mary Elizabeth Lutzow was born into Eternal Life on May 31, 2015, from cancer after a brief hospice stay in Wauwatosa. Mary was preceded in her death by her parents; her nephew Justin Lutzow; precious cousins Derek Stempa, Corinne Giese and Clint Erickson; stepniece Diana Marija; as well as caring aunts and uncles from Shawano and Wild Rose. Mary is survived by her brother, Thomas Lutzow, and his wife, Nevenka (n. Bralic); stepniece Kristina and husband Evan Eberhardt, their son, Brandon; her aunt, Dorothy Patrick; her uncle, Lee Erickson; as well as cousins, extended family and friends near Milwaukee, Shawano, Wild Rose and elsewhere around the country. A Memorial Mass is scheduled for June 27 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano, with a visitation from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass. Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Shawano. Mary Elizabeth Lutzow was born on June 16, 1947, to Wallace and Anna Lutzow of Shawano. Mary attended Willow Creek and Sacred Heart elementary schools and Shawano High School. She graduated with a degree in nursing and retired as a registered nurse from St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee. Mary loved her Lutzow, Stempa, Patrick and Erickson relatives and worked to affirm, celebrate and share their lives. She traveled extensively — across the United States, Europe, New Zealand, South America. Mary has made a significant financial contribution to the scholarship fund at Carroll University, Waukesha.
