Lloyd E. Schoenfeld

Lloyd E. Schoenfeld, 67, of Cloverleaf Lakes, passed away on June 27, 2015, at his home after a long courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Lloyd was born in Shawano on March 25, 1948, to the late Lloyd H. and Edna (Bistoff) Schoenfeld. On Dec. 10, 1988, Lloyd was united in marriage to Lola Volp. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and snowmobiling. He also raced stock cars at Shawano Speedway. Lloyd was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in the town of Washington and worked at Paper Converting Machine Company in Green Bay. His father taught him to work on cars at a young age, and Lloyd enjoyed passing that knowledge on to his son, Shane. In his free time, he enjoyed being with his family and doing jigsaw puzzles, and was an avid fan of NASCAR, the Packers and the Brewers. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Lola; his children, Shawn Jensen, of Green Bay, Shelly (Dave) Krueger, of Kaukauna, Chad (Kate) Schoenfeld, of Clearwater, Florida, and Shane Schoenfeld, of Cloverleaf Lakes; seven grandchildren, Avery, Sydney, Courtlynn, Conner, Kristina, Ty and Ethan; and one brother, David (Carol) Schoenfeld, of Kaukauna. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mary Ann (Schoenfeld) Spradlin. A funeral service will be held at noon Friday, July 3, 2015, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in the town of Washington with the Rev. Steven Pockat officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
